Perseid Meteor Shower brings opportunity for special focus on fitness and exercise

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009 It's August - which means the spectacular "Tears of St. Lawrence" (officially known as the Perseid Meteor Shower) - is here. Peak viewing is Tuesday and Wednesday nights (early morning viewing on the 12th and 13th) - Midnight to 5 a.m. Here in San Jose, there are two nights of viewing. In the Rose Garden and other inner city areas there is too much light, but there are ample hills around the area where you can get away from the glare of city lights - even if you want to take care since it IS the middle of the night.
